MONDAYS

PREMISE:
The drama tells the story of people who "thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities". A Japanese salaryman discovers that he can manipulate time and space. A struggling New York artist can paint the future but only whilst he is using heroin. A discontented police officer in Los Angeles can hear the thoughts of others. A high school cheerleader discovers she recovers from any injury and a single mom realizes she has "a powerful alter ego". The premise is that these people have a role in "saving humankind".

I saw the Pilot ("Genesis") and it was awesome. I can't wait to see again on the television.

Well I will give it a fair go, Greg Grunberg came to the UK this year for an Alias convention, and I met him and he was raving about how great the show is, and showed us all a preview, so I think it looks really good!

I downloaded the pilot, thought it was awesome. On the surface it seems average, but I caught some of the promos on youtube and was hooked from then on. Seriously, you guys have got to see this one. Great cast, great acting, great plot.

I'm avoiding reading spoilers and even downloading it, I'll be waiting till September 25th. They showed an extended version of the pilot at Comic-Con and everyone was raving about it. My only concern is that average Joe television viewer won't give the show a chance, which mean low ratings and eventually cancellation.

Thats what Im worried about too. With the dumbed down America not being able to follow the storyline so they quit watching. Americans want something they don't have to think about...like a rock.....
And with that damn American Idol on EVERY YEAR, there is no chance with any show on during the sweeps and even throughout the '07 season.
A little off topic but American Idol is the same thing every year, I don't get why people keep tuning in. It bthers me that the american audience enjoys singing people on a stage for hours over a greatly written dramatic show that deserves much more credit than it gets.
Okay...got that out of my system. Anyway, Heroes should do well. It hasn;t been released on television yet and it's already one of the most talked about new shows.

I think NBC was behind "Sunset Strip" or whatever that show is called with the Friends guy. But they must have got in wind of all the buzz Heroes was getting because they're promoting it pretty heavy on TV, Internet, and now I hear them showing previews in movie theaters.

The blonde girl.. I just saw her in a movie. Bring it on All Or Nothing. You know, those dumb cheerleader movies

which I kinda love. I know she's a cheerleader in Heroes too.. but anyways, she can act!
